Prerequisite: Theatre Arts II or Theatre Arts III.
These courses continue student development in production styles and techniques through advanced acting, directing, and production applications. Students will develop and perform college-level audition materials and participate in public performances. |
Students will study staging, design, set construction, properties, lighting, costuming, and sound. Practical application of taught skills are provided through the departmental productions giving students the opportunity to see their finished work on stage in front of an audience. Extra hours outside of the class day are required for students to exhibit knowledge and "hands on skills" of the objectives taught in the course.

A continuation of Technical Theatre I, Advanced Tech provides opportunities for leadership and design in all areas of Technical Theatre. Students will work on design projects that will go into their digital portfolios for college interviews and/or jobs in various fields. Participation in Theatre productions is required.
